Welcome to the Santa Monica College Events Department's facilities request system.  To log in, to create an account, or to request a space, please select the appropriate option in the "My Account" menu.  To view scheduled campus events, to see details about our various facilities, or to get a daily grid-view of campus facility usage, select the appropriate item from the "Browse" menu.  (You do not need to be logged in to browse, though logging in will allow you to see more facilities.)

During that time you will be unable to make reservations, though you will still be able to browse events. Once your New Account Request has been processed, you will see a “Reservations” tab on your screen, which you may then use to submit requests.

Upon receipt of your reservation, the Events Department staff will review it to ensure that it does not conflict with an existing booking. If there are no conflicts, we will notify you via email and issue you a PDF permit for the use of our facility. Please note that your booking is not considered confirmed until your permit has been issued. Finally, when submitting your reservation, please be sure to include your setup and teardown time in your request. You will not be allowed to enter the room before or after the times stated on your permit.

 
 SMC-affiliated users must submit their requests no later than 4:00pm, six business days prior to their event.  Outside users must submit their requests at least three weeks in advance of their event. Note that if this is your first request using the EMS system, it may take up to three weeks to process your order, regardless of affiliation. SMC buildings are available for rental between the hours of 6am and 10pm and, are not available outside of those hours.

 

Equipment must be requested no less than six business days prior to an event.  A.S. tables, chairs, and canopies are for Main Campus use only.  This means you may need to make your request with more than six days leadtime.
